Workflowers releases new plugins for Lustre

La Madeleine, November 4th, 2009Workflowers, the company specialized in services for digital cinema and postproduction launches a brand new version of its famous plugins for high-end color grading from Autodesk.

Since they have been released in Nov 08, WF_x plugins have been providing happiness to some of the greatest colorists, from Los Angeles to Sydney via Montreal. They have been used on a number of projects, being feature film, TV series, commercials or animation. One of those plugins has been used to develop the very caracteristic look of Polytechnique by Pierre Gill at Technicolor Montreal (http://new.csc.ca/news/default.asp?aID=1378).

This success pushed Workflowers to make a new version of those plugins now better, faster, more creative and ergonomic.

Key features of this new version :

  • Plugins are now multi-threaded and optimized which increases tenfold performances and allows real-time rendering on almost every effect;
  • Blending modes (multiply, overlay, soft light, screen…), a long awaited feature. Photoshop aficionados knows very well these modes that multiply by eleven creation possibilities;
  • New interface entirely re-thought and re-organized in a concern of ergonomic improvement for the operator;
  • Image export from the Grade Bin, another big request from users;
